Custom Timber Log Homes was founded because we weren't happy with what was available on the market. As custom log home builders, we have dealt with many companies over the years.  In fact, we have built for over 40 years now!

Do we know our stuff?

During those 40 years, we have worked with most of the major log home companies during some of that time.  Before founding Custom Timber, we had always finished a project with the feeling that things could have gone better.  From materials that weren't included, to poor customer service, we have been through it all.

Together, we felt we could help people find top quality materials at a very affordable price.  Even more importantly, we could offer a product which is complete and exactly what we tell you it will be.

What about value?

We aren't the least expensive company out there, at least not at face value. But we provide all the necessary hardware and components, which is not common in the industry.  If you look deeper, what you will find is top-quality materials at very fair prices. Our dedication and determination to be the best source available for all things log home keeps us doing what we do.

Our goal is to cut out hidden costs and to tell you the truth, even if it is not the most popular answer.  In some cases, we may even steer you away from log homes and into another category of home.  But, if you are like us and share a passion for log homes, you are definitely in the right place!

We supply very high-quality components like Andersen Windows, Therma-tru doors, and the best fasteners and hardware systems available.  Unlike some of the others, we can tailor any part of our packages to meet your needs.  If you would prefer a different manufacturer for one of the components, we can do that.

Whether you are building your long anticipated dream log home, a simple vacation home, or a basic getaway home, we can help with as much or as little as you would like.  Every step in the process has been mapped out to make the most streamlined and trouble-free home package completion, or log home construction project, possible. We take the hassle out of a custom home or full home build.

The golden rule of home manufacturing for us has boiled down to the question, "What would we want in our own home?"  When this approach is taken, it allows us to see your project in much the same way you do.

We aren’t a large company, and if flashy gimmicks are what you’re looking for, you might want to keep looking. However, if honesty, integrity, and expert craftsmanship are important to you, then you’ve found what you’ve been looking for.
